A Night On the Town

Tonight felt like a night from before we got married. We had to attend the wedding of John’s boss’ daughter. It was held in a beautiful old sydney hotel in the historical district. As a surprise for me, John got us a room and arranged for the babysitter to stay all night. We stayed up late dancing and drinking and acting like silly teenagers. It was so refreshing to just kick back and not think about responsibilities. We swore we would do this at least once a month from now on even if there were no weddings to attend. I am going to hold him to it!
