I was called into a conference room and offered a new position within the team. I just got a promotion from a supervisor to a managerial job. The position is new and my first step into a management role. At last, my hard work and perseverance paid off. The toughest thing about accepting this position is the uncertainty. It feels like this whole scenario is a test run to see where things go. This position means more hours and bigger responsibilities. I took the challenge and was even happy about it.
