Spy stores no longer sell audio spy equipment

Some folks tend to believe you can buy anything at a spy store. That every spying toolis up for grab and that you can do anything with it.
First, know that even with the things that they sell, like spy cameras, you cannotuse them any way you want, just because they’re legal to purchase. While I’m nota lawyer, and you should find out the laws in your particular region of the globe -know that usually using spy equipment you buy from spy stores, in your own home,is often legal. But elsewhere it’s usually not.
Then came the scandal of spy stores who sold hidden microphones. This equipment is illegal for sale in the United States and if a spy shop is trying tosell you some, say no.
