Michael Jordan always kept a good sense of humor

A part of Michael Jordan and his appeal comes from his ability to take things in his life lightly. He never really took himself too serious, for example, there was a New Jordans commercial that he did for Nike where he was having a bad dream. Basically he wakes up from this nightmare and says something to the effect of, “I had a really bad dream that I retired from basketball. I left to play minor league baseball and was a weak hitting below average player.” Michael knew that having a good sense of humor is important. It was actually the way to get to know him, and the way he tried to get to know you.
