The Whys of the Job

I wonder why some people choose a cosmetology career. When I get my hair done, I always ask why the stylist went to beauty school. The answers always vary. The men, sadly seem to all have the same story. They played with their mom’s or sister’s makeup and cut their friends hair and it just seemed natural. The women all have different stories. Some choose the job because it was an affordable and accessible option. Some, like the guys, always wanted to do it, and some took it up after their first career choice faded out. No matter why they choose the job, most all say they like people.
