LOCAL GUITAR TEACHER CONTINUES LESSONS

By admin | September 3, 2011

Guitar lessons near Stony Brook, New York have become hard to find with the recession eating away at musicians’ ability to find new students but a man named Richard Rabatin has managed to survive the recession by giving guitar lessons for beginners all the way through advanced students from his small studio. There used to be many other people renting out space in his studio to provide lessons but after the recession’s toll on the local economy, Rabatin is the only teacher remaining in his area. He sometimes gives lesson weekly to upwards of seventy students and what’s amazing is that he didn’t even learn to read music until the age of twenty-eight.
