The mighty verdigris river

There is a river out at the end of 71st street about 10 miles from where I live. It’s called the verdigris river. I’ve been there before, but it’s been awhile. I have some time off this weekend and was thinking about grabbing my fly rod and looking through my Fly Boxes to see which one has the flies that would work good for panfish. With weather in the upper 70s, it should be a beautiful day for me to go fishing. I always tell people that this is the time of year I wait for. It cools off enough to go outside and football season starts.
