Another area of conflict based on the families of origin is that of the division of labor in household tasks. Many boys, even in today’s atmosphere of equality, have not been in the habit of helping with domestic chores. As you may already know, women are in most households more conscientious than men, and they end up doing more of the day-to-day work in the house. The influence of the families of origin may play a part in this problem too.For a relationship to grow in this situation, my relationship advice would be that each partner must be willing to discuss their feelings and grievances with each other, without taking things (or making things) personally .
