Selling Islamic Books Online

By admin | July 19, 2009

Selling Islamic Books online in the UK on its own is not very profitable. For starters the market is saturated and competition is high, pushing down prices and hence profit margins. On top of that the wholesale market is very tight fisted as the main publishers do not supply their products at very good prices. Then there is the costs of delivering the books, which often is very high due to the weight of the books order. Customers demand free delivery, otherwise they would not buy online. The low prices of Islamic books does not help. Often online retailers will find they have received an order for several books amounting to £20 but delivery of these books will cost £5, totally wiping out their profits.
