Working together is tricky for any relationship

Do relationships at work ever survive? Having a relationship with somebody at work is a tricky situation usually, we all need our own space and work is usually a sanctuary which allows you to get away from any stresses in your relationship so that when you get home things have blown over. However if you both work in the same building, or even worse - in the same office, then if you are having an argument or if one of you is doing things at work that the other doesn’t like (like flirting with colleagues) then there is nowhere to get away from that to cool down, and things will erupt a lot easier than if you didn’t work together.
