A Cheap Mortgage Is Not Always the Best

The advertisement in the newspaper was for cheap mortgage rates and that is exactly what we were in the market for. After spending a few hours with the broker we began to wonder if this was really what we were looking for. The mortgage quotes started out sounding very good but the more we go into it, the more the other costs were adding up. We were told that we did not really have to worry about those costs as the loan would cover them and the money would not be coming out of our pockets but our of our loan. We did not like that approach and continued to shop around.
