Braun Savers: All of My Men Used Them

I grew up as the only girl in a family of five brothers. Since my grandfather also lived with us, that made my mother and I the only females in our large family. I learned early that the men in my family had certain things in common and could not be changed. For one thing, none of “my men” had a beard or mustache. In fact, receiving their own braun shavers was almost a rite of passage. As soon as any of them showed signs of growing facial hair, their new shaver appeared on the bathroom sink. To this day the smell of shaving cream can instantly transport me back to those hectic, wonderful days when I was surrounded by all of my favorite guys.
