Get Active

As long as you have it in your head that you are going to stay active and you really mean it you are going to feel much better about the way you feel both menatlly and also physically. Your body needs you to make sure that you are active. Everone also wants those 6 pack abs.

Ever heard the saying, “If you don’t use it, you lose it?” It’s a valid point when it comes to maintaining the youthfulness of your body and mind. For instance, flexibility is increasingly important as we age since it helps prevent injuries. A sharp memory helps keep us safe from danger by allowing us to stay alert and aware of our surroundings. Likewise, if we aren’t using our muscles on a regular basis, they begin to atrophy and become weak – including vital muscles like the heart.

The good news is that it doesn’t take much activity to make a noticeable difference. Those little 30-second online memory games can improve your memory when practiced just a few times a day. Deciding to park further away from the office or mall, or taking the stairs instead of the elevator can enhance leg strength and cardiovascular fitness. So just get going, and keep going. You’ll feel better for doing it. I like to use interval training cardio exercises.  

Everyone these days is busy believe me I know but that does not mean that we should just give up and not be active. Get to it and at the very least do a 10 minute workout of some kind. It is really up ot you to get it done the right way.
