You do no need a computer these days to access the internet. We have so many devises that can access the internet not just the computer. You do not need some gadgets like a phone or an iPod either in order to access the internet. As long as you have a TV that has an internet connection port, you can connect it to an internet source and browse all day. The excitement will be great because of a large screen. I learned this through my cousin. My dad runs his own business at home and he is always busy with the only computer we have. The best part is that he has a wireless router which he uses to access the internet through his computer. I asked him if I could use home network on the TV after learning the panasonic viera internet connection and he agreed with no issues at all. I did the connection on my own because my cousin had made sure that I mastered all the details. From that day. I have never seen the need of a computer. Before, I used to pressure dad all the time to get a laptop for me but today I never do that because I can access the internet easily on our family TV set.
