What I did with my last paycheck

Last Friday I got my first paycheck in over six months. I’ve been laid off for a long time and was getting kind of despondent. Thank goodness my wife makes a halfway decent paycheck or we would’ve been in deep trouble. I took that first paycheck, cashed it ,and went down to the swap-meet down in Redlands. I was determined to buy a few nice things for both my wife and I. I’d been down there before and they had a lot of wholesale gifts at wonderful prices. I ended up finding a lot of stuff for the kitchen and a nice stereo for my wife.
