The Most Important Thing in my Classroom
By admin | September 10, 2009
As a university chemistry teacher, my laboratory is the most important thing in my classroom. It is the place where all of our experiments, and therefore much of our learning, takes place. Our chemicals and equipment need to be easy to reach, yet secure. It needs to be easy to clean. For my student’s safety, our drawers should slide effortlessly, but never fall out. However, we do have budget constraints. The lab can not be overly expensive. That’s why I researched for a long time before recommending a company to design our lab furniture. I found someone who met all of my needs, yet was cheap enough that my university didn’t have a problem using them.
