Real Estate License Instead of College?

We have always encouraged our kids to go to college, ever since they were still learning how to write, we told them how great college would be, and how important it was for them to go. This year, my oldest graduated from high school and went into college, and we were so proud. But Luke’s best friend Charlie didn’t go to college and got his real estate license instead, and is already making some money. Luke told me the other day he doesn’t understand why he is sitting in classes when he could be out there making money. We tried to explain that Charlie’s real estate commissions are not steady like a good paying job would be, but I think he is still confused by it.
