Many people who consider starting their own business with eBay have reservations about whether drop shipping is a viable means of generating a high profit. Certainly there is a perception that eBay is a source for unloading junk items. What constitutes junk may be in the eye of the beholder, but it is highly unlikely that a would-be entrepreneur will generate much profit simply by selling garbage. Most people who travel down this road are usually guilty of taking business for granted, and should thus not be used as models for a successful eBay business. If, however, you are serious in attempting to generate a high profit margin on eBay, drop shipping can be an extremely viable means of accomplishing your goal.
