Credit Still Hard To Get

By admin | November 6, 2009

The UK government has agreed to the Bank of England pumping in a further £25 billion into the economy. They have already put £175 billion in over the past 12 months or so. The problem is that whilst the banks and big companies are benefiting from the extra money, smaller companies still are finding it hard to get credit. In the UK there are a lot of cottage industries, literally many operating from their own kitchens, or other rooms. To expand these business owners need to be able to get loans but that just is not happening. The jury is out on whether the massive boosts by the Bank of England is working or not.
