Vehicle Transport Success Depends On Auto Industy Success

Over the last two years we have heard so much about the auto industry and its successes and failures. We are now breathing a little sigh of relief as we see news that the industry seems to be showing signs of rebounding. There is a major part of the auto industry that seems to be left out of the news and that is the vehicle transport side of the business. Without vehicle transport, how would cars get to car dealerships all over the country? They would be stuck sitting in the assembly plants parking lots.
We need to give a lot of credit to the companies who run the vehicle transport, but a huge pat on the back to those wonderful truck drivers. They are out there in all kinds of weather, day and night, to get their deliveries done. Frequently, they have to be gone for days at a time, away from their family. They either have to sleep in a motel or in the cab of a truck for a few hours at a time, and then hit the road again. Sadly they have been given a bad image, but most truck drivers are fine, upstanding, hard working citizens, and deserve a big thank you for making their deliveries on time.
